The UT Ad Club’s annual networking trip to New York City took place January 21 – 26. This immersive trip provides students with an insider’s view of advertising, public relations and media companies in the heart of the media capital of the world.
Twenty-four students took part in this year’s trip led by ADPR professors Eric Haley (for the 26th consecutive year) and Courtney Childers. “The students really took advantage of every opportunity to build their advertising and public relations networks in New York City and beyond,” said Childers.
The faculty and students joined CCI alums, members of UT’s NYC Alumni Chapter and Dean Mike Wirth at the annual CCI NYC alumni reception at the New York Athletic Club. More than 40 alums attended the reception providing students with a great opportunity to meet and network.
